Rather than pasting in the whole note here, which takes a great deal of reformatting, I will just link to the <a href=\"http:\/\/curculio.org\/VOP\/Catullus-33a.pdf\">PDF<\/a>. Comments will be very much appreciated, and may be left here. I will be making a sortable database of Catullus comments, along the lines of my Persius comments (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.qltp.org\/qltp_notae.php?Q=Pers\">here<\/a>), and eventually turning it into a database that can be sorted by author, type of comment (textual, exegetical, Realien, prosopography), date of comment, and so on.
