Apparently Not"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week I drove down I-97 from Baltimore to Annapolis and found that part of it is named &#8220;Senator John A. Cade Memorial Highway&#8221; after a long-time <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_A._Cade\">state legislator<\/a>. Having seen and enjoyed <em>Henry VI, Part 2<\/em> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanshakespearecenter.com\/\">Blackfriars Playhouse<\/a> last spring, I wondered whether his friends called him &#8216;Jack&#8217;. Google suggests that they did (examples <a href=\"http:\/\/advancement.umd.edu\/celebration\/showScholarship.php?main_id=344\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/mlis.state.md.us\/PDF-Documents\/1997rs\/bills\/sb\/sb0156t.PDF\">here<\/a> [PDF]).
